EMSCNJ Scholarships
The EMSCNJ Cadet Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship for High School students in their senior year, who are cadet and/or junior members.
The Past President Fred Steinkopf Scholarship is a $500 scholarship for students who are currently enrolled in a college/university/trade school (freshmen, sophomores or juniors).
The Gail Lawrence Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship for those pursuing advanced degrees in any Medical field.

200 Club of Sussex County - The 200 Club of Sussex County is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to the dependents of law enforcement officers, firefighters, members of emergency medical first aid squads and members of emergency management, working (whether on a volunteer or paid basis) in Sussex County, New Jersey; and New Jersey State Police, who are residing or working in Sussex County (“Public Safety Personnel”). Part of the Club’s mission is to provide scholarships to dependent children of Public Safety Personnel as well as Sussex County residents who are pursuing college degrees in law enforcement or public safety.
200 Club of Morris County - Scholarship eligibility is limited to high school seniors who volunteer as a first aid squad/EMS department member or who volunteer as a firefighter in a fire department in Morris County, or whose parent/guardian is actively serving in or retired from the following agencies in, or serving, Morris County
Morristown Emergency Memorial - The mission of Morristown Emergency Memorial Scholarships is “To make modest annual grants and/or financial support to successful students pursuing careers in health or community care (for example, paramedics, the nursing field, physician’s assistants, etc.).”
Hardyston Township First Aid Squad Scholarship Fund - The Hardyston Township First Aid Squad Scholarship Fund honors a graduating high school senior of Hardyston or the greater Hardyston area including Stockholm, Hamburg, Oak Ridge, Sparta, Ogdensburg, Glenwood, Vernon, Wantage, Franklin, Sparta and Sussex.
Gunner J. Bigley Foundation - The Gunnar J. Bigley Foundation is a 501 (C) 3 organization that provides scholarships to local high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in law enforcement , ROTC, armed services, and/or any other careers that serve our community.
NJSFAC 24th District Scholarships -
Robert D. Cirri Memorial Scholarship -This is sponsored and given by Hackensack University Medical Center of Hackensack, New Jersey. Applicants may be a graduating high school senior or presently attending a college or vocational school. The applicant must be an EMT certified riding member of an EMS squad or child of an EMT certified riding member of an EMS squad.
William DeLooper Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is sponsored and given by VCI Emergency Vehicles Specialists of Berlin, New Jersey. This scholarship is open to all persons whose squads are members in good standing with the NJSFAC.
Walter L. Friedrichs Memorial Scholarship -This scholarship is sponsored and given by V.E. Ralph Emergency Medical Products of Kearny, New Jersey. This scholarship is open to all persons whose squads are members in good standing with the NJSFAC.
Mary and Edward Ehrenberg Memorial Scholarship - Preference will be given to applicants who are members of the Paramus Volunteer Ambulance Corps or Paramus Emergency Medical Services followed by neighboring EMS Council of New Jersey squads. This scholarship is open to all persons whose squads are members in good standing with the NJSFAC.

Firehouse Subs - Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation (Public Charity) has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to enroll in a part-time or full-time firefighter, law enforcement, or emergency medical (paramedic or EMT) program at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
